What is a motor
The motor of the UAV is commonly known as the "motor", which is the power source of the UAV. It can rotate the propeller of the UAV to generate power. Our UAV uses the power generated by it to change the flight of the UAV state, enabling the drone to hover, ascend or descend, or move in all directions.

Motor definition
A converter that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy for a motor, consisting of a stator, a rotor, an iron core, and magnetic steel.
What are the types and differences of drone motors?
Motors are mainly divided into brushed motors and brushless motors. Most drones on the market now use brushless motors.

The difference between brushless motor and brushed motor:
Brushless Motor:
1. Semiconductor switching devices are used to realize electronic commutation, which has the advantages of high reliability, no commutation sparks, and low mechanical noise.
noise.
2. Service life: It can work continuously for about 20,000 hours, and the conventional service life is 7-10 years.

Brush motor:
1. A rotating electric machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy (motor) or mechanical energy into electrical energy (generator) with a built-in brush device.
2. Service life: It can work continuously for about 5000 hours, and the conventional service life is 2-3 years.
What is the relationship between the motor, the propeller and the ESC?
The model of the motor product is generally subject to the KV value. For example, model 2312KV960, 23 means that the diameter of the outer rotor of the motor is 23mm, 12 means that the height of the rotor is 12mm, and KV means that the actual speed of the motor will increase by 960r/min when the voltage increases by 1V.
Many people think that the large KV motor and large propellers provide a large lift and heavy load, but this is not true.
Compared with low-KV motors of the same level, high-KV motors have high speed but small torque. The larger the propeller, the greater the lift, but it requires more power to drive. The smaller the KV of the motor, the greater the rotational force. The higher the speed of the propeller, the greater the lift. So we can conclude that a large propeller requires a low KV motor. Small propellers require high KV motors.

The full name of ESC is electronic speed controller, referred to as ESC. Its function is to convert the DC input of the battery into an AC output of a certain frequency according to the control signal of the flight controller, which is used to control the speed of the motor.
